Grab it by the grips, aim it, and the screen shows exactly what your PC is showing. The free version gives you the held camera with ZOOM and GLIDE. Comet unlocks every view and every control below.

Vertical in one press

The picture goes tall and centred, your on-screen info moves inside the frame, and the sides of the window go black. It works with every camera view. Photos save at a full 1080×1920.

Eight tabs that wake when you look

Lift your hand and the band opens above your wrist, with a comet that glides along the arch to whichever tab you pick. Lower it and it shrinks down to a small clock. Switch views, start recording, skip a song or check the lobby with your headset on.

See who's in your lobby

The Mod Checker shows every player's platform and frame rate, any mods they announce to the lobby, staff cosmetics, and movement too fast for normal climbing. Tap a name to see the details, mute them or spectate them.

It can only see what a player's game shares with the lobby, so a mod that stays quiet won't show up. Treat a clean badge as a good sign and no more.

A comet glides along the top to whichever page you pick. Comet has the players, lobby and settings pages. Voice, world, size and music come with Meteor.

Before you download

You need a PC. Gorilla Tag on Windows with PC VR, from Steam or the Meta PC app. It won't run on a standalone Quest.
Mods carry a risk. Gorilla Tag's rules don't allow mods, so using any mod, this one included, could get your account banned. Meteor Cam adds no network messages and its movement tools switch off in public lobbies, but nobody can promise you're safe.
Game updates can break mods. When that happens it stops working until an update comes out.

Questions

Which version should I get?

Start with Free if you just want to film with the held camera, wide or vertical. Get Comet for every camera view and control plus the Mod Checker. Get Meteor if you want everything, including the wristband and Meteor Studio on your PC.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes. Run the installer from the version you get and it replaces the one you have. Your settings stay.

Can I get banned for using it?

Yes, it's possible. Gorilla Tag's rules don't allow mods, and that includes this one. Meteor Cam doesn't add any network messages or player properties, and the movement tools only work offline, in private codes and in modded lobbies. That lowers the risk without removing it.

Can other players see the camera?

No. The camera, wristband and menus only exist on your PC. Your stream can see them unless you turn on Stealth, which hides them from the camera.

Does it work on Quest?

Only through PC VR, with the game running on your PC. It doesn't work on the standalone Quest version.

How do I install it?

Close the game, unzip the download, and double-click Install Meteor Cam. It finds Gorilla Tag, installs BepInEx if you don't have it, and copies the mod in. To remove it, delete the Meteor Cam folder in BepInEx\plugins.

Do I need OBS?

No. The camera shows on your PC window, so any recorder works. If you use OBS, turn on its WebSocket server and Meteor Studio can control it. The connection stays on your PC.

Does it work with other mods?

It's a regular BepInEx plugin, so it runs next to other BepInEx mods. If another mod uses the same keys, both will react to them.

What if it doesn't work for me?

If Meteor Cam won't run on your PC, contact us within 14 days of buying and you'll get your money back.

Is this made by the Gorilla Tag team?

No. Meteor Cam is an independent project and has nothing to do with Another Axiom.
